Free Caller ID Spoofing With Zenofon
Caller ID spoofing is the practice of changing the number that the recipient’s Caller ID box displays to something other than the original number of the caller. This ability is often used by people to prevent the recipient from knowing the originating number or to play pranks of their friends (keep it legal). This article will walk through the simple steps required to use the spoofing ability within the Zenofon service. It is included at no additional cost per minute and with Zenofon’s pricing schemes, it is possible to continue getting free spoof call minutes on a regular basis.
- If you do not have a Zenofon account yet, you will need an invite. Feel free to check out the main page for more information or just go to http://www.zenofon.com/ZenofonInvite to sign up.
- Once you have an account, look through the rest of the site to get more information about how to use the site.
- When you are ready to place a Caller ID spoof call, go to the “Your Phone Settings” tab.

Besides information about your numbers and contacts, you will notice a Caller-ID area in the lower-right that looks like this:

- To change your outgoing Caller ID, simply select “Manual call-id” from the drop-down box and type in a custom Caller ID, similar to the following image:

Of course, you should choose the custom number that suits you. When finished, click Save. - That’s it! Now, you can test this feature out by calling one of your numbers and seeing the spoofed Caller ID show up!
Have fun!
